Adopting
Looking for a list of our adorable adoptable pups? Please view our current list of adoptable dogs and apply to adopt with us here.
Fostering
The first start of the foster process is to apply online. We typically try to reply within 24 hours of receiving you application once it is approved. Then we arrange a meet and greet with your dog of interest where we supply you with everything you may need to watch the dog in your home for a commitment of at least 7 days including a crate, food, bowls, a leash, a collar, toys, treats, a bed, and any medicines/preventatives the dog may need while they are being cared for in their loving homes. Fostering will usually last for 1-2 weeks while we market this pet for adoption and locate the best possible home for the dog. As a foster, should you fall in love with the dog, you receive first right of refusal which means you are our first choice to adopt but if you choose not to adopt, there is no commitment. Our foster parents are our super heroes because we do not have a physical location for our dogs so more foster parents mean more foster homes which means more dogs get saved. We ask our fosters to keep in contact with us and observe the dog’s health and behavior so we can take notes to place the dog in the best possible home. Your foster commitment ends after seven days or when the dog is adopted. Once a suitable adoption candidate is found we are happy to give you a break from fostering or assign you a new furry friend to fall in love with.
Volunteering
From spirited adoption events, to walks in the park, and fun car rides with the windows down to and from the vet or the groomer, there are so many fun ways to share your life with a rescue pup. At Creegan Canine Rescue, our volunteers are priceless and we love celebrating you with fun events to say thanks! When you give your time and efforts to a dog in need, your whole life can change. A little head tilt, a puppy paw shake, and a whole lot of kisses are just some of the ways these amazing dogs will put pure joy into your life and our volunteers are pretty amazing too! Get started today by applying and volunteer to make a difference in the life of a dog in need!
Surrendering
Should you find yourself in a position where you are no longer able to keep your dog, we are here to help. We know this is a difficult decision and we will do our very best to help you and your dog as you evaluate your best options for surrendering your dog. Please note space is limited and we cannot guarantee a spot for every dog, but we will do our best to assist you if we can. Please fill out our surrender application form for additional assistance.
